David is off to school, I have had breakfast and am drinking coffee, and I've got a load of laundry started. As soon as I'm done posting, I am off to Curves, and then an OA meeting in Weymouth. Mom & Kate haven't headed south yet, surprise, surprise. No idea when to expect them, but I have plenty to do before they get here anyway. I really hope they get here before I pumpkin, though, cos I really wanted to get the various jellies made today to harden overnight. You know, I actually didn't do all that badly yesterday. I brought in two loads of laundry and hung out three, I got the coffee processed finally, I baked and frosted a cake, I cleaned up after the critters, I took care of David, I caught an escaped chicken, etc. That's an OK day, even if there were things I meant to do and didn't ( Read more... )

Yesterday was a slightly less lazy day than Wednesday, in that I got two loads of laundry done & out, and I made waffles for David's & my breakfast. Today I am back to a full workday, even though candle lighting is at 4:09, so I won't be getting in a proper eight hours. Today I am having a slow day, deliberately. I did good work for a week, the place looks pretty good, today I am kicking back a bit. I hate Tuesdays. Too busy. I have an hour before I head out for my counseling appointment, and I'd really like to shower & change clothes before heading out, but I'm not sure I'll have time. Here's the plan:

1. Fold dry laundry
   
2. Move clothes rack onto table and hang remaining damp laundry
   
3. Sweep & mop library
   
4. Change litter boxes
   
5. Shower
